Jotul

Jøtul is one of the world’s oldest producers of stoves, inserts and fireplaces. Building on a proud Norwegian heritage, they have combined fine craftsmanship with the art of coping with the cold for 160 years. The adventure started in Loelva in 1853 where Oluf Onsum, the son of a farmer, founded Kværner Jernstøberi. Kværner started the development of cast iron products, and leading up to 1900, the company was one of the largest wood stove foundries in Norway.

In 1916, Herman Anker purchased the foundry and with his appreciation of the value of marketing and a sales team, the foundation of the Jøtul brand was born.

Jøtul customers deserve the absolute best stoves, inserts and fireplaces. That’s why all their products are handmade in Norway using only the best available materials. In fact, their unmatched durability is the main reason why Jøtul offers the longest warranty on the market. No wonder why the F602 is the most sold and copied fireplace in history, having been designed over 80 years ago and still in production today.

Their range of classic cast iron stoves, such as the F602 mentioned above to the F3 and F400 give a large choice when looking for a traditional, ornate, wood burning stove.

But Jøtul do not just cater to the traditional black cast iron wood burning stoves, constantly pushing forward with their stylish and modern stoves. From the F305’s clean lines and large glass viewing area to the sleek curves of the F370 range, there is always a Jøtul stove to suit your design needs.
