There are a number of inevitable risks to installing a stove. As a business we mitigate these risks to lower the likelihood that our customers or our installers incur injury or worse as a result of our works.

The most obvious risk is from working at height; we must work at roof level to line a chimney. For around 75% of our jobs we can use our company owned cherry picker to access the chimney stack – this is the safest method of working.

For those properties where we cannot access the stack via a cherry picker, usually because telephone pylons form an obstruction, we will assess whether it is safe to work from ladders (all of our installers are ladder trained) or we arrange scaffolding.
